Dr. Aafia Malik received her BSc and then completed her MBBS from Fatima Memorial Hospital. She also then went on to complete her FSPC (Psychiatry) from Psychiatry services hospital Lahore as well. She is currently offering consultations at Jinnah Hospital and she also works at Psych Intellects. She previously worked as an Assistant Professor at Rashid Latif Medical College/AMH, Lahore. Her experiences have helped her become a highly-skilled psychiatrist.

Dr. Afia Malik is well versed in many different types of mental health issues and is skilled in treating many. She has a special interest in treating Anxiety disorders, and Personality disorders. Dr. Afia Malik has spent a considerable amount of time raising awareness about mental health in our society and the importance of taking care of one’s mental health. In a video interview on World Mental Health Day she mentioned that mental health is just as important as physical health, as when you’re doing well mentally, your body will also work better and be healthier. She also mentioned how mental health is for everyone and people should be approach psychiatrists if they feel the need to.
